Anthony R. Valluzzo

Tony's practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and family business issues for both small and larger companies in the Bay Area.  He draws upon his personal and professional business experience.

One could say he was bred for business -  as he comes from a long line of entrepreneurs. To learn more, read our blog post about it  He learned business from his father who took the risk of bringing his southern family business to the Pacific Northwest.  A little more about that southern family business - his grandfather left his profession as a dentist in Michigan to venture south to join what was then merely a start-up restaurant led by Ray Kroc.

Adding to this upbringing of nature and nurture, Tony secured the educational tools to help his clients.  These include an economics degree from Seattle University, master's degree from the London School of Economics and a law degree from Santa Clara University law school, where he focused on tax law and estate planning.

His professional experience includes public accounting at a major firm in both San Jose and San Francisco, where he deepened his knowledge of tax planning from small to larger issues like how to deal with airplanes.  Trust and estate taxes, as well as start-ups, corporate tax structures, and issues facing businesses small and large.

All of this helps him serve his clients who range from individuals to multi-generational businesses.

Tony grew up in Seattle, and is licensed there as well.  In his spare time, he advocates for seniors and children here in the County.  He advocates for the Boys and Girls Club.  He has served on the boards of Sonoma Senior Advocacy Services and the Catholic Professionals Business Club.  He is part of the Sonoma Thirsty Peddelars cycling group.  Interested, ask him about it.

He enjoys cycling, golf, music, cigars and spending time with his family.
